M. Miles
Recruiter & Multimedia Specialist
Investigator Miles started his law enforcement career with NYPD in 2004 and ended his time there as a Task Force Officer. In 2008 he joined the Irving Police Department, where he was assigned to the patrol division and spent 4.5 years as a Detective. He is currently assigned to the Personnel Division as a Recruiter and Multimedia Specialist.
R. Batchelor
Background Investigator
Investigator Batchelor has 9 years of law enforcement experience with the city of Irving, specializing in narcotics investigations, patrol operations, and civil forfeitures. In her current role with Personnel, she handles background investigations and website design.
C. Trezza
Background Investigator
Investigator Trezza has been with the department for 16 years and has 12.5 years of prior experience as an officer in Florida. His experience includes SWAT, criminal Intelligence detective, narcotics detective, field training officer, community policing officer, and patrol operations. His primary duties include background investigations and recruiting.
N. Gard
Background Investigator
Investigator Gard has 20 years of service, including 5 ½ years on patrol, 6 ½ years as a Motor Officer in the Traffic Division, and over 10 years on the SWAT team. He has been a background investigator in the Personnel section since 2018.
K. Dingledine
Background Investigator
Investigator Dingledine has 25 years of law enforcement service, with experience in undercover narcotics investigations, patrol operations, and as a field training officer. His current primary duties include background investigations and recruiting.
J. Barnes
Personnel Sergeant
Sgt. Barnes was hired by IPD in 2005. He worked patrol before transferring to the SWAT team and promoted to Sergeant in 2017. Most recently, he served as the Sergeant of the Fugitive Apprehension Team and as a SWAT Team Sergeant.
