ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Class C Texas driver’s license

Must pass a thorough background check

Must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered

LATERAL DETENTION OFFICER

Applicants currently working as jailers in the state of Texas with a minimum of 2 years of experience may be considered for increased base pay. Determination of starting pay step is based on:

Each year of experience is based on the completion of 12 full months in the position.
